Natural Selection

as used here, is the hereditary results passed to offspring from the preexisting genetic information of the parents.  Such genetic information has been identified to occur within DNA in areas called alleles. Here, DNA information permits diversity such as skin, hair, or eye color to pass to offspring as chromosomes are weaved together during reproduction.
